DEATH. Don`t know about your .22 air rifle though. In New Zealand a police officer was killed last year by a .22 pellet fired from an air rifle. The rifle was a FX Monsoon....a semi-automatic air rifle.

Probably the most damage would be caused if you held it by the barrel and used it as a club.
