Mauy Thai Question ????? please experienced practitioners and students only?

i am intrested in moving my training on to mauy thai, i recently recieved my black belt in jui-jitsu and i want to start training MMA, there is a great mauy thai place by my area and i am just wondering, when you start, are you tought the clinch right away, and also do your coaches spend a little extra time helping you get used to the sport, for example showing me the certain stances and such, thanks for your help.
