Open Question

What do you do in this situation?

Say you go to some pub and got drunk. Then started playing pool with others (Winner Stay format). Played drunken pool and lost half a dozen games- some of the opponents were sarcastic/ laughing about your poor skill level while others were sympathetic and quietly supporting you to win a game.
So do you go back to the pub few days later to show them that you can really shoot pool or avoid the pub?
