Open Question
What is a good length of time to run for?
Right, plan is to get fit! I'm not unfit, I'm a good shape, just a little curved in the unwanted regions.(size 10 UK) Running is supposed to be one of the best exercises yes? So, seeing as its study leave, I'm planning on running in the mornings to wake me up. My question: what should my starting time be for a run? 20 mins? half hour? 45 mins? I'm planning on building it up a bit each time I go for a run. I've got a good stamina, but I haven't ran for a while (more of a cyclist). So all views and opinions would be lovely thanks!
Any advice on how to get/keep fit would be wonderful! I gym once a week but feel the need for more! Thanks again! xx

answer: Nitro39 time: 2010-07-06 07:49:09Were we watching the same race? Right after I saw Kurt "move" Jimmie over and pass him...I saw Jimmie do the very same thing. What goes around....
Edit: @ T-diddy: I am not getting something here. In your eyes, how is Jimmie's maneuver any different from what Kurt did to Jimmie laps earlier? Just askin'.
Kurt did the same thing to Jimmie to get the lead in the same exact place on the track..
answer: Richard W time: 2010-07-01 17:48:52Kurt did that to him just a couple of laps before, so if its okay for Kurt to do it, why not Jimmie?
Both were racing to win, the best driver won.
Oh, and NASCAR's been popular for a lot longer than a year, in fact, ticket sales are down lately compared to where they were.
F1 racing is different, this kind of move isn't really done, but in NASCAR its done all the time. Neither of them spun the other out, so its all good.
Rubbin' is Racin
It's short track racing, called the bump and run. That's the way they use to race, before it all became PC.
Kurt did it to JJ, so JJ did it back.
EDIT: I'm just going to throw a name out there......Dale Earnhardt. Well known for making that very kind of move.
