What is a good way for me to get in shape to go out for Cross Country this fall?
I'm going to be a freshman. I moved across the country this summer, and I think doing a sport in the fall would be a good way for me to meet people. Last year, when I was in 8th grade, I was a competitive swimmer and I swam for about 2 hours 6 days a week. I also played soccer for the JV team even though I was only in 8th grade. In the fall, I ran middle school cross country (where you only run 2 miles) without a problem, but back then I was in really good physical shape, playing 3 sports and all.
I moved more than 2000 miles this summer, so I had to quit all of my sports. I haven't been exercising as much lately (obviously)....just running a mile or so every few days....and I was wondering how I can start to train for cross country so that I can run a 5k pretty easily in the fall. I'm not in as great of shape now, and can't remember the last time I've run three miles in a row, or if I ever have. Any advice would be great!

one small correction it is not finals but league final match (oruvelai idhu varappokum finalkku mun arivippo?) the vital factor is the hat trick of farvesh maharoof (is he related to farvesh musharaff?) and regarding the other factors in batting sangakara and mahela were a little more careful and selective as they are sure that the target is not a big one so they played leisurely where as the indians they are not sure of ant target so some pressure was there and the fielding not much difference between the two srilankan spinners bowled a little more better and to some extant succeeded in tied down bats man

I think Team India took this match very lightly and didn't gave their 100% to his match. They did not even bothered about this match.I don't like such kind of attitude from Dhoni.
Just wishing them all the best for the final. After all Team India has to take back Asia Cup to India after 15 years.

But anyhow they will play as crappy as they did today... so yea they are gonna loose miserably.
