Answer Question

LOL, no we're not annoyed... There are a lot of countries with no football tradition that have medium results ...
Still even if they get out of the groups or even to the quarters they will be never taken too seriously like Korea or Australia will never be taken seriously.

But dont think that this means that europeans hate america or anything, we just dont respect it as a good football team, because, honestly they arent... maybe in the future who knows....

I, for one, don't think that USteam is a good team, but i like watching them play, and i root for them LIKE HELL xD in the match against algeria.

No, we're not annoyed. Without wishing to sound condascending, most of us find it quite funny when the USA does quite well and then all of a sudden their fans start talking about actually winning the world cup.

As for the USA chants etc..., I wouldn't worry about it, Gallows humour rules amongst football fans.

The good thing about the world cup is that, most of the time, you have no idea what the opposition are chanting back at you (and if you'd ever been to a football game in England or Scotland, you'd know that probably isn't such a bad thing!).

The only thing we don't like is the "S" word, the game is football, not AND I REPEAT NOT, "soccer" (LOL).

Other than that you'll be fine.

We are not annoyed. As a matter of fact we think it's about time Americans got educated.

First of all, I am american and I love soccer too, I think soccer is catching on a little here in the states but because the most popular sports for kids ages 5-12 is soccer but unfortunately those kids are persuaded into other sports like football, basketball, ect. and I am glad the US is making a run here in the world cup but I doubt we'll win on saturday because Ghana has a lot of speed and knows how to get the ball into the back of the net and with the changes Bob Bradley made with our defense I don't think we'll hold up. I also think US Soccer will improve if we get our players in more international leagues like EPL, Serie A, German Bundesliga ect. instead of shitty MLS I think we'll have a better chance of going deep into the world cup on a normal basis.
