It's not Fabio's fault England suck. With all the pressure you guys put them under they're never going to live up to the hype anyway.

It is true that teams do not win under foreign managers but it would be unfair to put this down to the split loyalties of the manager..everyone loyalties are tested as players find themselves playing against members of their own clubs.

Of course it would be great to have an English manager for the English team..but just think about how he would deal with the press! One they turned on him, and they do so at least a couple of times a year when they are bored, he would be able to understand every word of it and so would his family..and even if he led England to a win in the world cup, if he did not resign at once the press would soon discover that he was resting on his laurel; too old for the job or demanding too much of his players. The English press are the best reason in the country for our not being able to get a really good English manager to take the job..at least an Italian or a Swede can go home when they get sick of the nastiness an bullying targeted against them.

Not only England....same Ireland got an italian manager...why is that? Lol thats your problem if you dont find a proper manager in your own country....maybe is because they are almost all the time stoned?XD

England shouldn't have a foreign manager, though there is no harm in having foreign players. However, the trend these days is to have the best former players as coaches, regardless of the countries they come from, which is why Zico of Brazil also coached Japan for some time and many other star players are all over the world coaching new countries to football.

Again, hardly any of the former British managers have inspired the team to any glory. They have all been mediocre, apart from Alf Ramsay. So it is almost a sign of desperation to have a foreign manager.

Britons love to blame the manager for everything, but what the England team needs desperately is self-belief and the confidence to show how capable they really are. But no one can give them that except themselves. Until they get a new winners' mindset, no matter which manager they have, England will always be ruled by fear and self-doubt, while the managers keep getting axed! :o(
